Mill Ride Golf Club
Founded in 1990 and designed by renowned golfing 'architect' Donald Steel, this Championship course measures 6,885 yards from the back tees. Cross cut fairways in among lakes, mounding and hollows give this course a parkland design, coupled with an inland links feel to the starting and closing holes. A 1 mile drive from the Royal Foresters.
Downshire Golf Complex
With a full 18-hole championship course, a nine-hole pitch and putt course, practice putting and a 30-bay, floodlit driving range, beginners and experienced golfers can work on all elements of the game. A 6 mile drive from the Royal Foresters.
The Berkshire
Founded in 1928, The Berkshire Golf Club is home to two Herbert Fowler designed courses, which are widely regarded as among the best in the British Isles. The pine and heather-lined courses make for a stunning setting within the 372 acres of Crown Estate heathland. Visitors are welcome. Handicaps apply and the courses are not suitable for the novice golfer or beginner. A 2 mile drive from The Royal Foresters.
